Hot Tech Know Show: Reviews the Kindle

The goofiest geek on the web (and that is surely saying something) takes a look at the Kindle on the "Hot Tech Know" Show. Some compelling features of the device according to our gadget maven? "Nobody on the train can see if you're reading Mein Kempf."

Duh, BuzStuf thinks it is worth a watch or two.

Enjoy.

CES Press Charged Up About Yanking Crank

This year CES was all charged up about the YoGen® by Easy Energy, Inc.. The YoGen is a snazzy and slim hand-powered electric charger that produces a surprisingly big charging power when driven by the repeated pulling of a cord. The PR folks were telling us that the crank action "somewhat resembles the action of a Yo-Yo," but we think BuzStuf readers know how to crank their yanks already, so we'll not dwell on that feature.  In any case, after you pull the gadget's T-handle a few times,  an internal alternator spins, generating enough power to recharge the batteries of your cell phone or portable electronic device.

Is it me or is there a breeze in here?

Pants? We don't need no stinking pants. These blokes take off their trousers to take part in the 9th Annual No Pants Subway Ride in New York City January 10, 2010. The event organized by Improv Eveywhere involves participants who strip down to their underwear as they go about their normal routine.
